Gemini

Arcarossa presents the new Gemini partition wall, created to satisfy the requests for maximum transparency, elegance and acoustic privacy. In fact, two 10mm or 12mm glass plates are placed in the slots of the extruded aluminum profiles. It is also possible to further increase the noise reduction of the wall with specific PVBs. Visual privacy is ensured thanks to the LCD films, which, positioned on the glass as if they were simple stickers, allow for complete darkening via remote control. The wires and are hidden inside the aluminum profiles for a result of great elegance. The snap-on casings, in addition to making Gemini assembly simple and quick, allow easy maintenance of the wiring.

Gemini is a high-performance wall system which, thanks to the telescopic elements on the floor and on the ceiling, allows to absorb the differences in the heights of the rooms. The walls are made up of a horizontal and vertical structure made with extruded aluminum profiles and 10 or 12 mm laminated glass. The standard finish is gray anodized aluminum. The black 9005 and white 9010 painted versions are colors available in stock. For different finishes it is necessary to request a feasibility study by writing to ufficiotecnico@arcarossa.it.
The maximum size of the glass sheets is 1050 mm in width and 2900 mm in height for 10 mm glass or 3200 mm for 12 mm glass. As standard, the sheets are connected to each other via an “H” spacer profile in polycarbonate (3 mm) and on request in aluminum (6 mm).
Gemini aluminum profiles have a thickness of 74 mm and a height of 40 mm. The profiles are completed by two snap-fitted glass bead casings that are interchangeable between the two series, which allow great versatility of customization and at the same time ease of assembly and maintenance. The zamak glass support also acts as an adjustment foot thanks to the telescopic system, allowing easy accommodation of the glass or blind panels in the aluminum profile and at the same time allowing to make up for the irregularities of the masonry and floors for over 25 mm. The horizontal tolerance, on the other hand, is approximately 50 mm per section of the wall. The wall system is equipped with 10 mm or 6 mm thick tempered glass doors with sliding or swing system. The doors are available all glass or with an aluminum perimeter frame. A mobile threshold on the ground is available to improve acoustic performance. The framed door version is available with single or double glass. The glasses can be laminated or tempered 6 mm thick. The doors are also available in wood and in two versions: with fir wood frame, honeycomb honeycomb paneling and laminate covering or with anodized aluminum frame and single or double panel in 18 mm melamine. The Gemini system has a range of aluminum corners with various gradations (45°, 90°, 180° and variable) in order to allow maximum design versatility.
